Second Harvest was started a few years ago by Merrill Young who plays fiddle and sings tenor with the group. Wes Cantrell plays mandolin and sings baritone along with lead singer/guitarist Jim Watts. Warren Douglas plays bass and Cory Seats plays banjo. Fiddle and banjo instrumentals and three part harmony singing, with a little comedy mixed in provide a variety of traditional bluegrass and county music. Second Harvest performs at Witt’s End Diner located at 1405 N. Illinois in Harrisburg, AR the second and forth Friday nights each month. They also play other local venues.
